After 45 books I have finally made the decision that the about the author section is my least favorite thing ever, no really. The idea of writing about myself is about as exciting as watching paint dry. I know what you are thinking but you are an author. To be honest, I'm just like you, a regular guy/gal that lives in the Midwest. I'm married with two amazing kids(most days) and one very energetic rescued dog named Maggie. If I am not working on new tales of horror then you can usually find me on a motorcycle hauling a$$ down the highway or working on a new recipe with my daughter. The stories I write will make you think that I get some sort of sick pleasure stringing you along page after page...well, I do, but it's cheaper than therapy. I have been releasing since 2014 and still have a lot of nightmares up my sleeve yet to write.

The killers tasked with killing Gabriel missed, killing his wife instead. Bad mistake! Gabriel reaches out and touches the CIA bosses that ordered the hit. The 'touch' is a pellet of lead that eases them into the afterlife. He 'touches' everyone involved in that unfortunate act. Putting his son's future in the hands of his friend, Gabriel pursues the new a--holes charged with killing his son and himself. Gabriel's hands are soaked in the lifeblood of multiple bad guys, but they knew what they faced when set against him.

Gabriel is truly the CIA's Angel of Death. They trained him to be relentless, ruthless and deadly with or without weapons. The characters and storyline are amazing, non-stop action. This is a great read!

WOW what a super 3rd Book. This was one great series and this ended the best way possible that it could have ended if this series is to only have 3 Books in the set. I loved how Gabriel took care of his own and as through out the series made people pay for hurting those he loved. I had hoped the series would go longer then 3 books and yes I know that it still could as Gabriel is one kick ass guy and I would love to read more with him. But the way you ended this book, if it were to stop here then that would also be OK, as this leaves the reader in a pretty good place. To everyone checking this series out, please do and pass it on to others at this is one Series that I definitely recommend. For anyone interested be sure to check out Mike's other 2 series, "The Uninvited" which will leave you checking your windows & doors and "The Orphans" if you love reading about Zombies, then this is one Series you will also love.

This book picks up a day after "Pitch Black" ends. The Company just won't leave him and his family alone. When someone pushes Gabriel, he always pushes back - hard. Liked the story - didn't like the typos, bad spelling, and lack of punctuation.

As well written, thought-out and original as the first two, Evans delivers once again in grand fashion in the next installment of a very exciting series. I rarely read anything but zompoc but the depth of characters and emotion Evans brings to the page is sure to suck you in. Body Count will not disappoint and leave you with an unquenchable thirst for more!

The third installment of the series does not disappoint. With well written and tight action sequences this book keeps the pages turning at a furious pace. Imagine James Bond and Hitman 47 having a love child on steroids and you would have Gabriel. After the CIA plans on punching his ticket they inadvertently kill his wife instead. Gabriel will let nothing stop him from making those that gave the order pay. I look forward to reading the next in this fantastic action series.

Body Count, The third in the Gabriel series. The name of this book is spot on as there is quite the Body Count that seems to follow him around wherever he goes. Never down for long, Gabriel stops at nothing to protect those who mean the most to him and for those who don't, well.....let's just say, their day may not turn out so well. I enjoyed this book and series very much and went through all three books very quickly.
